Arete Property Solutions is a property solutions and construction management company. We act as a trusted bridge between clients and skilled, vetted tradespeople — managing property projects from initial enquiry through to completion. You deal with us; we source, schedule, and oversee the contractors. Whether the job is a general repair, a full renovation, or a large-scale HMO build, we manage the process end-to-end so you don't have to.
Do you carry out the work yourselves, or do you manage contractors?
We are a construction management and property solutions company, not a single trade. Our role is to source the right vetted tradesperson or contractor for your specific project, manage them on your behalf, and ensure the work is completed to the agreed standard. Every tradesperson in our network is trusted, highly skilled, and fully insured.
How do I get started?

What types of property work do you manage?
We cover two broad categories. For day-to-day needs: property maintenance and general repairs, roof and external cleaning, tree cutting and garden clearance, and driveway paving. For larger projects: full home renovations, property conversions (including HMO layouts, loft and garage conversions), all types of extensions, HMO builds and off-plan developments, groundworks and scaffolding, full electrical works and rewires, EV charging point installation, and commercial refurbishments.
Can you manage a full renovation project?
Yes. Full home renovations are one of our core services. We act as the project manager — coordinating all the trades required, managing the programme, and overseeing quality at every stage. You have one point of contact throughout: us.
Do you manage HMO builds and conversions?
Yes. We manage HMO builds, off-plan developments, and HMO layout conversions. These are complex, multi-trade projects and end-to-end management is exactly what we provide. Contact us to discuss your project.
Do you install EV charging points?
Yes. We manage the supply and installation of EV charging points for homeowners, landlords, and businesses. We source a trusted, fully insured electrical contractor, oversee the installation, and ensure the system is commissioned correctly. If additional electrical works are needed alongside the charging point, we coordinate those at the same time.
Can you manage commercial refurbishments as well as residential?
Yes. We manage complete commercial fit-outs and refurbishments for businesses and property owners. Commercial projects often require tight programme management and minimum disruption to business operations — both of which are part of what we do.
Where do you work?
We cover East London and South West Essex. Specifically: Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Thurrock, Basildon, Brentwood, Chelmsford, and Braintree. If you are not sure whether your property is in our area, contact us with your postcode and we will confirm.

Are your tradespeople insured?
Yes. Every tradesperson and contractor in our network is fully insured. This is a non-negotiable part of how we vet and select the people we work with.
How do you select the tradespeople you use?
We work with tradespeople who have earned our trust through consistent, quality work. We vet everyone in our network before they work on any client project — looking at experience, reliability, and how they conduct themselves on site. We only send people to your property that we would trust with our own.
What happens if there is a problem with the work?
Because we manage the work end-to-end, we do not disappear after the job is done. If an issue arises, you contact us and we address it. Our role throughout is to ensure the work meets the agreed standard — and that does not stop at completion.
